For me the main goal of this project is communication with great people. Communication with someone that shares with you the same interest of creating something unknown and hopefully enough intrigue to the eye.
It is a duet.
The artworks created based on scenario and minimum development guides, which are not planned to limit the artist from creating his vision of the story.
Minimum rules and maximum freedom of personal interpretation and vision.
I have called it a Personal Story, because this is not a business. This is the communication of free men. And I am happy to present you with the final result of it.

Intro

First scene shows a space where a shooted arrow is flying in different directions - the target* is not clearly identified.
The message was sent, but who is the recipient? —It is not clear.
Maybe a friend, someone who is looking for similar answers?
Or a creator?
Or is this just a self discovery process?
Or maybe this is a combination of all together?

*The archery target was created based on the decade old concept that operates with numbers and initials MA - Maxim Aginsky.

Scene no. 1

“Every work is an arrow I shoot with the hope of understanding the purpose of all this”

In the room (home office) a person(1) that most of the time is sitting on a chair in front of the table with an iMac, standing and holding the bow(2) that just recently shooted the arrow(3) (a new project/message).

(1)(Sketch mode) Very basic representation of a person. It symbolizes the first step in the process of ideation and emphasizes it as a critical step of the product development.
(2)Bow to shoot arrows. Digital includes three 'w' - arrowww
(3)The arrow was created using Maxim Aginsky initials - MA. Fletching - M (W), Head - A.

Scene no. 2

“Every story is unique”

In the sky/water, fish/bird catches the arrow and holds it in the mouth - a symbolic representation of the project that has transformed after leaving the creator’s room into something, something unexpected.
The creator with a bow sits on top of the fish/bird like on horse (the new experience is the consequences of the work that was done).

“It's the accidental that initiates the serendipitous. Be open to the unexpected !”

Working process

Round one. January 18-19

Yulya:

Maxim: Maybe the person can be bigger in both scenes - it is the main element of the compositions.
Maxim: Not sure about this. Please think for yourself.
Yulya: About the size of the character, in the first scene it takes up all the space of the frame in height, so I can only reduce the table and chair to visually enlarge the character. But, to be honest, I would not change the proportions.
Maxim: Good.

Maxim: Second scene bird is also a fish (fish tail? fish scales?). The person's hair may flutter - figure in motion.
Yulya: At the expense of the bird, I just thought it should be either a bird or a fish, but I'll fix it.

Maxim: At the first scene, the person shooting the arrow from the right to left. Then at the second scene the figure comes from the right to left.

Maxim: Second scene double wings, not sure I understand.
Yulya: At the expense of the wings, there are no double wings, maybe you mean the front feathers? (I'm attaching a sample of the wings to explain what it looks like).
Maxim: Good.

Maxim: The last one is the best, you have a good developed feel of balance!
a. I still think that it is worth trying to have a better pronounced fish tail.
b. I am curious what are the marks under the hand?
Yulya: Regarding the marks under the hand, it just seems to be colorful spots that tropical fish have. It's just an idea, I'll review it in vector

Maxim: I feel like the colours are slightly aggressive, the latest example is better, but please remember - the website has 3 options for the BG color: 1.#ffffff 2.#eae8e8 3.#fbefe2, so we need to make sure the artwork stands out enough.

Maxim: I feel like I have limited you with the little colours that were provided. That's why I have developed an enhanced colour palette and alternatives. I hope it will be useful to you.

Yulya: Regarding the colors, yes extended palette helps a lot, I will make new samples.

Yulya: Here are a few more tail options and new color visuals. They are still a bit aggressive, but that's because they are very similar in hue.

Maxim: Absolutely fantastic left hand, especially along with the person’s head! The shooter is wow!

a.Not sure about gradients usage for this project!
b.Not sure about the chear and table black lines. May be different objects will work here better
c.Area of computer with small elements is feels too busy

Yulya: Hey, I substituted the colors according to your pattern and left 1 sample of my color variant. And I added a small version of black and white, as I said in black and white, these colors will not work.
I have also made edits according to your comments, please let me know what you think.

Maxim: I think this color palette works better.

b.What is going to be the mobile version ?
c.Are you planning to add any elements around the shapes to have some dynamics?
d.How did you find my idea to push all the elements down a bit and use a more “circles” approach (same technique you use to create a shooter)?

Maxim: I still feel like there are too many elements on the wings :( DO you think the two compositions complement each other? Maybe to remove the wings completely?

Maxim: It is kinda unclear that there are actually two figures. Can you think about something else?
